Our client, based in Nottinghamshire are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced EHORB registered Environmental Health Housing Officer. You will be involved with a range of inspection and enforcement related work. They are looking for a qualified and registered Environmental Health Office who is competent at dealing with HMO licencing, Illegal Eviction as well as the everyday disrepair cases. They will be expected to take the lead on high risk and high profile cases and follow cases through to prosecution or civil penalty if required.
Our client requires an officer who is able to hit the ground running who has proven track record of enforcement action and is able to hit the ground running. Excellent customer service and ICT Skills are a must and a use of Flare would be advantageous. They offer Hybrid working and all equipment would be provided. Ideally the candidate would be required to work from the office at least 3 days a week to ensure the service is covered, however for the right candidate this is negotiable and is not rigid.
The initial contract will be 3 months but likely to extend given our clients' workload and they will pay between £30-£40PH Umbrella for the right person, the top end of this will be for people who have all of the above.
