Our client, based in Central London are looking to appoint several experienced Environmental Health Housing Officers. There are multiple roles available for experienced Officers and they support a flexible working pattern, the role will require working from home and physical inspections on site. Primarily this role is to respond to, investigate and resolve complaints regarding poor housing conditions in the private sector in the Borough. Undertaking inspections under the Housing Health and Safety Rating system (and other legislation) and taking the most appropriate course of action within the Council's policies and procedures. Where notices are not complied with, to instigate enforcement action promptly.
This role requires someone who holds the HHSRS and has at least 1 years worth of experience. You must have recent experience of surveying Houses in multiple occupation and drafting schedules of work and recent suitable and practical experience of enforcement in private sector housing.
This contract is due to start right away and initially will run until December 2021. You will be paid £35-£37PH LTD.
