Our local authority client, based in the North East is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Private Sector Housing Enforcement Officer. You will be expected to undertake inspections, surveys and other investigations of residential properties in the private sector under housing and related legislation, as directed. This may include other duties, such as property inspections identifying overcrowding and disrepair and work with respect to empty homes and HMO's.
In order to be considered you must have a minimum of 1 year's experience of undertaking the work required, you must also possess either a BSc or Higher Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health, or another relevant degree and ideally possess an EHORB registration. Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) qualified.
