Our client based in Lincolnshire are looking for an experienced Senior Housing Enforcement Officer to provide visible, day-to-day operational management of a busy team of Housing Enforcement and Licensing Officers, as well as supporting and mentoring trainee and apprentice Environmental Health or Housing Practitioners. You’ll lead by example—developing a proactive, high-performing culture and ensuring the delivery of excellent housing, licensing, and public health services across the district.
You’ll take the lead on a wide range of housing enforcement activities, including inspections, licensing work, empty homes, caravan sites, and unauthorised encampments. Using a risk-based, intelligence-led approach, you’ll apply relevant legislation and ensure effective enforcement to protect residents and improve housing standards. You’ll also work collaboratively with other senior officers to plan resources and deliver cross-service initiatives and projects.
