You will liaise with tenants, landlords, and other agencies, and have the opportunity and support to use the range of powers available to you to improve the housing standards and living conditions of some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. You will be expected to carry out inspections, re-inspections and surveys and to be responsible for the investigation, enforcement and manage a caseload, to consult/negotiate with developers, landlords, contractors, business and other clients as appropriate, to ensure progress of casework. To carry out site visits, surveys, inspections and to attend Public Inquiries, courts of law, and tribunals.

Ideally you will be a Qualified EHO but it is not essential, having years of experience is. You will have to demonstrate that you have good housing enforcement skills as you will be dealing with problematic landlords.

The client is offering £40-£46PH Umbrella and a contract that will see you, initially for 3 months but this could get extended.
