Our client, based Berkshire are looking for a EHO in Housing to carry out inspections of all types of premises. You will be asked to carry out inspections of private sector properties, responding to tenant complaints, drawing up schedules of condition & disrepair as well as inspect HMOs in line with current legislation and caravans site – both licensed and unlicensed. You will also need to assess properties in accordance with Housing Health and Safety Rating System and prepare and service of enforcement notices through to Tribunal / Court.
To do those role it is essential that you have experience completing all of the above and have the qualifications to be allowed to do this work, holding the HHSRS certificate in imperative and you must have experience working for a Local Authorities and enforcing this legislation, without this you cannot be considered. To get the top rate you will need to hold the EHRB certificate however this is not essential.
If you have all of the above and are offered the role you will receive a contract for an initial 3 months (likely to be extended) maying £35-£40PH Umbrella.
