Our local authority client, based in South London are seeking a part time professional with experience in Environmental Health or Housing Standards to join their Residential Enforcement Team. You will be dealing with Housing standards in the private rented sector and issues including HHSRS inspections and Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO). For the bulk of the orle you will be asked to process Mandatory, Additional and Selective licence applications to ensure that rented homes in Southwark meet the correct standards as well as reviewing floorplans to check for adequate means of escape. This will be for 2-3 days per week.
In order to be considered, you will need a qualification in Environmental Health or the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) or have experience in dealing with the above.
This is an initial 3 month contract and will pay £36.12 per hour Umbrella (negotiable) and will be for 18 hours per week.
