Our client, based in the North West are looking for a food competent EHO to assist the team in completing Food Inspections on an initial placement of 6 months
The Council are looking for someone who is full time and fully Food competent and assist the team due to staff shortages. They are working to ensure that they meet Food Standards Agency expectations of working towards removing backlogs of the full range of Food Hygiene interventions including Higher risk, Lower risk and unrated food businesses. Officers would be expected to undertake inspections, produce reports and log visits on their FLARE database and they will be provided with necessary equipment and instruction in software systems. Officers would also be expected to conduct revisits, assist us with hygiene complaints and Food Hygiene Rating Scheme re-inspections.
They are seeking a Full Time candidate but may consider candidates wishing to work part time. Officers will be expected to operate remotely and also use the office facilities as required.
