A 6 month vacancy has come up within the Food and Safety team of the Regulatory Services Partnership covering the a South London Borough to assist with work around test and trace, social distancing enforcement and food safety inspections. Principal duties will include undertaking programmed food safety inspections and interventions at a range of premises in accordance with the FSA Code of Practice and Practice Guidance as well as to risk rate food businesses in accordance with the requirements of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme. As well as other tasks you will be asked to review health and safety and COVID-19 risk assessments and carry out on-site health and safety checks to ensure COVID-19 compliance.
They are looking for a Food competent EHO who can complete inspections under the code of practice . Recent previous experience in inspection work is crucial but consideration will be given to candidates in a position to complete their CIEH Competency Development Portfolio to achieve either the Higher Certificate in Food Control or the Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control.
