Our client in the North East requires a qualified Food safety contractor to carry out some 150 inspections (C&D's) to commence asap and complete by March 2021. They need you to produce a clear hand written report to be left on site (specifying 'Legal Requirements and Recommendations'), establish risk rating and issue a letter in cases of major contraventions; there will be no data input work and you will not undertake enforcement action.
To apply you will need to be a practising local authority Food Safety Officer and we will need to see evidence of your full competency framework document and CPD record. The work can be completed outside normal office hours on evenings and weekends so you do not necessarily need to be available Monday - Friday if you have existing work commitments.
