Our client, based in North Yorkshire has an excellent opportunity, they are currently is looking to appoint an experienced Food EHO . The work will entail some programmed food hygiene inspections (mostly categories C and D), some inspections of new food business, investigating of food and food premises complaints, and food hygiene revisits. Depending on the previous experience of the officer, the work may entail a limited amount of health and safety complaint/accident investigation work. Essentially though what we are looking for is an authorised food officer.
They need an EHRB registered EHO or Technical Officer who has experience completing Food Hygiene inspections in high risk premises. You must be able to prove your food competency with over 20 hours of CPD and you must have completed a Food Hygiene Inspection for a Local Authority in the last 6 months.
This contract will run for an initial 3 months and is paying up to £30 LTD per hour.
