Our client, based in the southern Hertfordshire is looking for a suitably qualified Food Safety & Standards Officer. In relation to food safety and standards, you will be expected to carry out inspections to ensure that statutory requirements and Council policies are fulfilled.
In order to be considered you must have a comprehensive knowledge of Food Standards and Food Safety legislation and appropriate post qualification experience is essential. You will need to comply with FSA requirements for an authorised officer. Knowledge / experience of our Flare database is desirable. It is essential that you hold a relevant qualification at degree level or equivalent professional qualification in Environmental Health, or in Food Safety and Food Standards. You can either be a Qualified Environmental Health Officer with EHORB registration (Environmental Health Officer Registration Board), OR have the Certificate in Food Control which includes the Higher Certification in Food Premises Inspection and Higher.
This contract is due to start ASAP and will run for a 3 month period seeing you to the end of March 2018. Our client would prefer someone who can commit to full time hours but is willing to consider those who can work 2 days+. Rates will be £30-£35PH LTD.
