We have a client in the Channel Islands who require a Food Safety Officer between January and March 2024.
We are not necessarily looking for extensive experience but we do need those who are fully competent and can inspect category B-E premises. You will be carrying out the full range of duties as a Food Safety Officer including dealing with reactive work and investigations.
Given the location, the client can be flexible with the work arrangements but a suggested way of working would be Monday and Friday from home and Tuesday – Thursday based on the island. It is estimated that travel and accommodation costs (depending on your location) are likely to be around £200.
They are wanting to offer a full-time hourly paid contract and are open to suggestion on the rate but given the logistics involved we are probably expecting to pay £60-£70/hr.
