Our client in the North West are looking to recruit an Environmental Health Officer who specialise in Food Safety and Health and Safety enforcement works.
You will be carrying out inspections and compliance checking and producing reports and recommendations as required. Where necessary you will carry out enforcement activity. The food role will focus on food safety intervention work and will work to an active programme in line with the Council's work plan. The H&S role will be similar but may be more reactive with you being required to respond to service requests and carry out accident investigations.
The initial contract will be 3 months with a very good chance of extension. The client is willing to be flexible in pay depending on experience and qualifications.
