Our local authority client, based near the Bristol area are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Housing Officer. Although within housing, they are looking for someone public health and housing knowledge and experience, due to an increase in referrals for people living in poor quality housing, mainly in the owner occupied sector, but some in rented accommodation.
You would need to be familiar with housing and public health legislation and have very good people skill, especially in dealing with vulnerable people.
As mentioned, this role will require an experienced officer, with at least 3 years of working within this field. You will need to be familiar with housing and public health legislation.
Flexible working available, happy to consider full and part time. Hybrid working available and can be discussed. Rates will start from £35 per hour and contract duration between 4 to 6 months.
