Our client, based in South East London are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Housing Officer. The role is within the Housing Licensing Team and requires capability to inspect rented property prior to a license being issued and to carry out compliance inspections in licensed HMOs. A minimum of 4 inspections per day is required and reports to be submitted and records updated within 3 working days, Officers will be provided with a list of premises and are required to manage their own time, reporting directly to the Senior EHO. The availability of a car is desirable but not essential as there are good local public transport links.
In order to be considered you must have HHSRS qualification, be experienced in inspecting private rented property including houses in multiple occupation and be capable of assessing plans, electrical, gas, fire, energy certification and provide advice to technical support officers when required.
This contract will run until March 2023, it is 35 hours per week and rates will start at £35 per hour.
