Our local authority client, based in Northampton are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Food Officer to carry out statutory food safety at local businesses in accordance with current law, procedures, policy and guidance; within agreed timescales and occasionally outside of normal working hours. Inspection categories will range from Cat A to D premises.
In order to be considered, you must have experience in the delivery of a range of Food Safety Official Controls detailed in the Food Law Code of Practice within the last 3-years, within a local government setting in the UK. You must hold a post-qualification, specialising in food safety and/or health & safety enforcement.
This is a part time post, working 25 hours per week, flexible across days/evenings Pay rates will start from £46 per hour.
