Our client is a Local Authority in North London. They are looking for a DM Planning Officer capable of managing a busy caseload of minor planning apps. These will mainly be small residential / householder apps and maybe some commercial developments / change of use cases. As you settle into the team you will be able to take on more complex cases if this suits you.
As a DM Planning Officer you will work under supervision of more senior Planners so you will have the support you need and you will have the opportunity to develop your skill set. We are looking for a Degree qualified Planner who has gained experience in a Local Authority and has a good knowledge of UK planning legislation.
Our client will offer hybrid working; their main office is in Brixton. The pay rate will be at least £28/hr (umbrella). The standard week is 35 hours and the initial contract will be 3-6 months and is likely to extend.
