The purpose of this job is to lead on the delivery of the Council’s Building Safety and sustainability programmes over the next three-year period, to a value of circa £65 million.
You will work alongside the Director of Resident Safety and the Building Safety Programme Manager to design and deliver a holistic capital investment programme focused on high rise residential buildings (HRRBS) and other works across the housing.
The role will require a collaborative approach, working in conjunction with the Building Safety and Asset information Manager. The key task here is to ensure suitable and sufficient information and data is attained, regarding safety and structural risks to enable the creation of Safety Case Files.
Other key duties will include embedding a new resident engagement strategy for capital programme delivery and leading on the resolution of latent defects and resident complaints regarding the quality of completed works.
You will have a key role to represent the Council in strategic partnership meetings and you will be responsible for ensuring that all target milestone dates are met, where completion of works is a requirement of external funding.
We need an accomplished senior manager with the confidence to lead and inspire those you work with. It is absolutely essential you have gained experience in a similar capacity working for a Local Authority or Housing Association.
The day rate will be at least £550/day (inside IR35). Our client is in North London.
