Full Description

Our client requires at least 2 Customer Services Advisors to work from their office in Cheshire (less than half an hour from Manchester Piccadilly). The roles sit within a social housing department and you will act as the first point of contact for all customer enquiries. Specifically you will be dealing with queries in relation to housing benefit and council tax. You will also be dealing with complaints and directing queries to other departments as appropriate.

The ideal candidate for this role will have worked in a similar role previously and have some knowledge of housing benefit and council tax and will have used Northgate software. Alternatively, our client will consider applications from those used to working in a contact centre environment as they are able to offer some basic training. You will need good communication skills and the ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult situations.

The initial contract will be for 3 months but it is expected it will be extended for at least another 3, probably longer. The pay rate is very good, our client is willing to pay £18-£22/hr (umbrella) which is roughly equivalent to around £30,000 p.a.
