You will work within the Technology Business Unit. Their work focuses on designing and delivering technology solutions across the Council to help deliver a wide range of services.
As a Contract and Supplier Assurance Officer you will be involved with research to help inform decisions around category plans and improvement works. You will help capture information to be fed into the procurement process. Your work will focus on low risk projects and you will be accountable for the effective management of various contracts with typical duties including monitoring KPIs and reporting on delivery targets.
For this role we are looking for someone from a contracts management / procurement background, ideally with a CIPS Diploma level qualification and previous experience in a Local Authority setting. Those with technology experience may be at an advantage but our client will consider those with backgrounds in other categories.
The initial role will be 3-5 months and is likely to extend. They are looking too pay £25-£35/hr depending on experience. Contact us for a full JD.
