Our client, based in Somerset are looking for 12 months cover for maternity leave which is starting in July and will be for 2 or 3 days a week. You will be asked to cover Contaminated land issues that arise within the District. Contaminated land sits with Air Quality and Envirocrime so experience in either or both of these will put you in a strong position. You will be able to work from home but may an need initial office visit to collect IT equipment and training and then occasional after that.
To be successful it is crucial that you have several years experience working within a Local Authority dealing with contaminated land enquiries as well as the other disciples mentioned. They are flexible with the days per week but are looking for 2-3.
If successful you will be offered a 12 month contract paying £30-£35PH LTD but they are flexible in this for the right person. The District itself is a beautiful part of the country and would offer the benefits that comes with that especially at this time of year.
