Our client, based in Bedfordshire are looking for support, on a part time basis to respond to contaminated land enquiries, FOI/EIR's etc, and to consider contaminated land and air quality requirements associated to planning applications, providing appropriate responses in line with existing service provisions. Ideally the role will include the provision of support in relation to statutory obligations relating to air quality and the maintenance of the existing air quality monitoring network.
In order to be considered you must have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience of Environmental Health Practice, with specific regard to environmental protection, environmental permitting and air quality.
The hours for this are flexible and will support agile working, with some requirement to attend the office to undertake air quality duties as and when required.
If successful you will be offered an initial 3 month contract paying £35PH Umbrella.
