Osborne Richardson has an excellent role for an experienced Conservation Officer with a Local Authority in the East London. You will provide specialist advice on conservation and urban design matters relating to planning applications and to help guide new developments in the borough. Our client needs an officer with proven technical experience of working with listed buildings to work alongside them and provide expert advice and guidance. You will also prepare policy and guidance and deliver projects which manage and enhance our client's important historic and built assets and deliver high quality urban design.
Applicants for this post must be passionate about conservation and urban design, have worked with a Local Authority previously and hold a post grad qualification in Town Planning. Previous experience of providing specialist conservation and/or urban design advice throughout the planning process, and for different types of applications is essential.
This is a contract role which will initially be offered as for 3 months though it could be extended. The rate offered is £25/hr umbrella but there might be room to negotiate depending on your experience. Please get in touch for a copy of the job spec and further details.
