Our client in East London is looking to appoint a Community Testing Programme Coordinator. The main purpose of the role will be to support the effective delivery of the community testing programme, incorporating the efficient running of the Testing and Community Collection Centre and borough-wide functions, planning support for testing, performance management and analysis and presentation of data.
You will implement mechanisms for the provision of support to residents to engage in regular lateral flow testing (particularly those from disproportionately impacted groups), by ensuring effective linkages with local Providers, the Voluntary and Community Sector, other Council support service leads and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) Senior Regional Engagement Manager and Regional Team.
The post holder will be expected to manage the Testing and Community Collection Centre and borough-wide functions, record keeping and undertake performance management of the programme. Support the borough's Community Testing Programme strategic and operational development in line with national strategy and priorities.
Attend regional and national meetings as deputy for the Assistant Director of Public Health, to represent the Council in matters relating to the Community Testing Programme.

This role is up to 3 months in contract and the rate is £22/hour
