Our client in Hertfordshire is looking to appoint a Community Safety Manager to join the team and step up the Community Safety project there. This is a senior management role and will require experience that reflects this.
Our client will be looking for someone with senior management experience in managing community safety, ASB, Enforcement, community partnerships (Voluntary sector).
Some of your key responsibilities will be as follows:
Community Partnerships - key areas of management: Voluntary sector contracts, Sports and Physical Activity strategy/action plan, Arts and Culture action plane delivery, other voluntary sector SLAs (Heritage, Shop mobility)
Community Safety and Adventure Playgrounds - Lead the community safety team (RAOD, JAG, Safeguarding etc), overseeing the delivery of 4 adventure playgrounds (currently shut CV-19).
You will be required to review the services to see how they can best be structured in the future due to increased demand of vulnerable residents and further statutory responsibilities falling on Local Authorities.
This assignment is due to start ASAP and will run with an initial 1 year contract. The rate of pay for this role will be £45 - £50 per hour umbrella. As mentioned previously this is a senior management role so you must have experience and skills that demonstrate just this.
