Our client is looking to appoint a Community Protection Officer to provide additional assistance to a busy team.
You will provide specialist advice on regulatory enforcement issues in relation to nuisance, such as noise and smoke, and public / enviro health matters. You will help prepare and distribute publicity and promotional material and as requested you will assist in preparing case files ready for prosecution.
The standard working week is 37 hours and due to the nature of the role you will be expected to undertake duties outside of regular office working hours which may include early morning, late at night and weekends; a rota system will be in place.
We are looking for those from an Enviro / ASB enforcement background with a decent knowledge of local authority enforcement powers. You will need good communication skills.
The roles is based in Kent and will pay £19/hr (umbrella). Please contact us for further info.
