You will provide strategic integrated communications planning and expert advice to our client's housing service. You will be tasked with developing and leading on the delivery of a housing communications strategy to support effective communication activity using appropriate political awareness and sensitivity.
On a daily basis you will be expected to develop innovative ideas to support the council's agenda to transform the perception of its estates and you will work to build awareness and understanding of the strategic housing agenda among key stakeholders. A key aspect of your role will involve contributing to the creation of a housing options website for residents. It is absolutely critical that communications through this portal are on point whilst also remaining in sync with the Council's corporate message and image.
To apply for this role you will need to demonstrate a proven background in developing effective communications. You will need to have worked across a range of media and you will need to be confident in your ability to produce creative approaches to sourcing positive media coverage. A key skill in this role will be the ability to develop strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders so good verbal communication skills are essential.
The role is based in West London and will pay £30/hr (umbrella).
