Our client is a Local Authority in North London and they are seeking an experienced Communication Lead Specialist to join them for a contract role working on one of the largest Regeneration programmes in Europe. You will play a key role in establishing strategic relationships with partners and agencies, as well as leading on the overarching communications strategy for our client. You will be responsible for ensuring that there are effective communications protocols in place and these are adhered to by all partners. You will also be responsible for making sure that the programme is included and promoted in all council and partner communications, including the media, residents and stakeholders.
To carry out this role you will need to have worked in a role working on a similar programme of work within a local authority setting. Excellent communication skills are absolutely essential and you will need to be confident in managing and prioritising activities to produce satisfactory outcomes to an agreed deadline. For this role you will be required to manage a large and demanding workload and the person hired into this position will possess strong influencing skills and be experienced in communicating with a range of audiences using various formats.
This role will initially be offered as a 3 month contract though it could be extended and they are offering a pay rate of £350-£390/day (umbrella). A full JD is available on request.
