Full Description
Excellent opportunity to take up a 100% home based role until at least the end of March 2022 although it is expected to extend for at least 3 months after this.
You will work as Commissioning Manager – Learning Disabilities and Mental Health & Transitions for a Local Authority in South West England.
You will focus on developing commissioning strategies and implementing systems to support with complex procurement needs for a range of services. It is absolutely essential that you are able to successfully seek out best value and you will focus a lot of attention on market development work to help establish a reliable, high value supply chain.
Relationship building will be key to your success and you will be someone who enjoys building bridges with third parties and is comfortable dealing with a range of stakeholders.
You will make full use of your previous experience of commissioning within public health / care services to contribute to our client’s ‘A better Life’ transformation programme. You will lead on identified system meetings and you will lead specific workstreams related to Sec 117, CHC, accommodation, ASD, NHS Long Term Plan.
