Our client based in the South of England is looking to appoint a Commissioning Manager for Learning Disabilities.
This post will primarily be responsible for the review of the Learning Disabilities and Autism Framework for registered community based support. As part of this work the post will proactively engage with the care market to ensure that there is ongoing capacity to meet identified need whilst the review takes place. This post will also support the ongoing work of the government mandated cost of care exercise to support the understanding of the true cost of care in the care market for learning disabilities and autism.
In addition the post will oversee and support the work and decisions of a commissioning officer who engages with the market on uplift requests in both residential and community based services to meet ongoing financial targets and budgetary pressures.
This assignment is set for a minimum of 3 months with a likely extension thereafter and the pay rate is £450/day umbrella. If you have the relevant experience for this position and would like to discuss the role in more detail then please get in touch.
