Our client is looking for an experienced children’s Social Care Commissioner to lead a specific project around residential needs of children. They are looking for someone who can create a market statement to attract appropriate suppliers that can offer a creative solution to meeting the needs of the Council.
Cost will be a concern but our client is hoping you can focus more on the solutions being suggested to allow for both traditional and non traditional approaches and put in place an effective process for driving innovation. Ultimately the goal will be to enable more children to stay with their own families.
The role will be at least 3-6 months to start with but given the nature of the task, it is likely it could extend for some time as new process is implemented and progressed through the procurement cycle.

Our client is a Local Authority based in South London. They will pay £506/day (inside IR35).
