Our client is a local authority based in Hertfordshire who are seeking an experienced Commercial and Development Project Manager to assist in the efficient delivery of a programme of major capital property projects in line with the Council's growth objectives. You will also have responsibility for ensuring that all the objectives are met across development and delivery phases, ensuring that the programme is delivered within agreed budgets and timetables, ensuring value and meeting the aspirations of the Council. Working in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders you will be responsible for ensuring that they are fully informed throughout the developments.
Applicants for this post should be degree educated in either Surveying or Planning and have a proven experience in project managing the delivery of commercial or housing projects, including working with developers and the local community. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will a strong knowledge and knowledge of legislation pertaining to businesses, and especially of regeneration.
The role will be offered for 5 months initially but could be extended and the rate offered is up to £480/day. Please get in touch for further information.
