Our client requires Business Support Officer within the Food Safety team to provide vital admin support on a long term food inspection programme. Your key tasks will involve generating letters on Uniform for the Food Hygiene Rating score and sending out letters to food businesses. Completed inspection reports have to be scanned and filed electronically in a timely manner so that records are kept fully up to date.
You will carry out data input tasks using Uniform to record food safety, food standards and health and safety inspection details. You will also be required to call businesses to check if they are still operating and on occasional you may be required to visit to confirm ownership of businesses. Where details have changed you will need to record these and update the database.
This role is perfect for an environmental health graduate looking to gain work experience in food safety. Any previous experience of Uniform would be an advantage but anyone with strong IT skills will be able to adapt to the role.
Our client is based in Brixton and we expect the contract to run until at least the end of March 2020. The pay rate will be £15-17/hr (umbrella) and standard working week is 35 hours.
