Our client is a local authority in West London who are seeking a Business Support and Engagement Officer to development business engagement initiatives across the Borough, ensuring that maximise trading, growth, and investment opportunities are achieved. You will work with colleagues to ensure that the Borough's place-making and regeneration ambitions take account of the needs and demands of the local business sector. You will be the 'face' of the borough's business engagement team and will respond to the concerns of local businesses, maintaining ownership until they are resolved.
For this role you will be required to manage a large and demanding workload and the person hired into this position will possess strong influencing skills and be experienced in communicating with a range of audiences using various formats. You will have excellent relationship building skills, be politically astute and ideally have and understanding of Local Government consultation and engagement processes.
