Osborne Richardson has an excellent opportunity for a Business Relations & Economic Growth Officer to join our local authority client. The role sits within the Housing, Planning, Regeneration and Regulatory Services division and you will assist our client in delivering Regeneration and Economic Development activity across the borough with a focus on economic development funding.
You will be involved in dealing with inward investment enquires and marketing the borough as a great place to setup business. You'll work with partner organisations to stage events and manage the content on our client's social media channels.
The role will be well suited to those with a background in economic development or regeneration. Confidence, good communication skills and a positive approach to work are essential in this role. This role is with a local authority based in East Midlands and the initial contract will be offered for 4 months, though we have had confirmation that there is potential for an extension beyond this. The pay rate will be at least up to £30/hr (umbrella) but there is room to negotiate depending on the candidate's experience.
