Our client is looking to hire a Building Inspector to undertake a range of activity in relation to inspection, plan checking and providing advice and guidance on building control matters.
They are happy to consider all grades of Class 2 registration and the rate will differ depending on experience. For Class 2F they are looking to pay £60/hr minimum.
Our client is a Local Authority in Berkshire and under their duties of the Building Act 1984 they carry out a range of activity to ensure building regulation compliance. You will be assigned a workload commensurate with your level of experience and qualification. For those at a more senior level you will work under minimal supervision to manage a diverse and busy caseload with a focus on dangerous structures.
Junior staff will work under supervision and will be given the opportunity to expand your experience and take on case work within your capabilities.
Due to the site work involved, we need those who are easily within catchment of our client’s office in Berkshire.
The initial contract will run until end of December 2025 but is highly likely to extend through to end of March 2026.
