Our client is looking to appoint a suitably qualified Housing Officer to help deliver a key project over the next 9-10 months. The role will focus on working with applicants in temporary accommodation who are on the homeless waiting list to establish their most likely route to re-housing in settled accommodation. You will manage the process end to end to help them achieve that transition through supporting and empowering applicants where possible, but enforcing decisions and actions where necessary.
This is brand new project and as such there are many challenges to overcome so our client needs strong willed, highly motivated Officers who can work well under their own initiative. It's absolutely essential that you have a high level of knowledge when it comes to housing options practice and knowledge of homelessness legislation is required. Key to the success of this role will be your attitude and desire to succeed.
The role is based in Hackney, will be offered until at least August 2019 and pays £22.23/hr (umbrella) so this is fantastic opportunity.
