Osborne Richardson is delighted to be working with a highly-regarded and creative multidisciplinary consultancy. The company are now seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Newcastle team. The successful candidate should have excellent technical skills.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
o Promoting large to medium scale residential, mixed-use, employment and other developments (both brownfield and greenfield) through the Local Development Framework and then by coordinating subsequent applications o Conducting research and site appraisals on projects for the company's client base o Preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications of all sizes/types o Preparation of planning and occasionally socio-economic statements o Lodging appeals and potentially appearing at Informal Hearings o Developing client relationships
It is essential that candidates:
o Are MRTPI qualified o Have strong planning experience (7 years +) o Have experience in consultancy or a similar commercial environment o Have strong project management skills o Are committed and have an eye for detail o Can work with minimal supervision and have a strong ability to use their own initiative o Have a strong teamworking capability
