Full Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director or Director to work for one of the most respected multi-disciplinary consultancies in the country. You will be expected to manage and run a wide range of development proposals within the forward-thinking practice, that will range from significant strategic sites to brownfield regeneration and smaller schemes in sensitive locations. The Guildford office is well located within easy walking distance of the attractive Guildford town centre, with staff parking.

Role Specifics

As an accomplished director, you will be tasked with motivating, developing and managing the performance of others as well as facilitating the professional and personal development of staff. You will be joining an award-winning company, who have already established their name in the market and are now looking to expand their Guildford office. Evidence of strong technical expertise as well as work winning ability will be pivotal for this role. You will be involved in a variety of projects for a range of public and private sector clients providing advice from initial feasibility studies, to strategic advice and Development Plan promotions, to detailed planning applications and appeals.

Role Requirements

As a proven professional and business leader you'll be asked to apply your knowledge and effectively respond to changing markets, in order to deliver an outstanding consultancy service to the organisation's existing and emerging client base.
The company are seeking a commercially aware professional that can spot good business opportunities. Applicants should have at least 9 years of planning experience - (either private-sector or public-sector).
You will be educated to degree level and be MRTPI Chartered.

Reward

As a result of your dedication, you will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package in the region of £55k - £75k depending on experience - including contributory pension, health cover and flexible working options. Bonuses equating to 30% of salary are also on offer for good individual and company performances.
