As an Assistant Neighbourhood Housing Officer you will assist with the provision of a customer centric day-to-day housing management service within a local area office; specifically you will be working on the 'North Area' of Lambeth on behalf of the Council's Housing Services team. You will work to support the delivery of an integrated housing service to tenants and leasehold customers.
On a regular basis you will be required to provide a visible presence on the estates you are involved with. Typical duties will include investigating and responding to service requests, email, telephone queries and reception queries and undertaking tenancy visits, viewings, estate walkabouts and sign-ups of new tenancies.
The role would suit someone who has worked in a local authority housing team or a housing association. You will need good communication skills and you will need to be well organised. Ideally you will already have a good working knowledge of Northgate software.
The contract will be at least 3 months and pay £18/hr (umbrella).
