Based in Charnwood our client is looking for an Assistant Housing Officer to join their Housing Needs Team.
Your work will focus on assisting the Allocations and Lettings Team in the smooth running of the Councils Housing Allocations Service and assessing the needs of housing applicants according to the Council's policies and procedures.
Day to day you will carry out all functions associated with Housing Registration processes, including assessing new applications and accurately updating associated IT systems and files.
To apply for this role it is essential that you have experience of Housing Allocations and general office duties
The initial contract will run for 3-6 months but it is fully expected to extend. Rates will be between £12 and £13/hr (umbrella).
