Our local authority client, based in Bedfordshire require an Air Quality Specialist who is able to comprehend complex scientific documents on environmental protection and pollution control issues, including contaminated land reports, LAPPC documents and noise measurement reports. You will be required to carry out accurate assessments in order to enable effective enforcement responses to be made.
In order to be considered you must have in-depth experience of environmental protection enforcement within Local Authority or similar working environment, including in-depth experience of at least one specific area of work, such as contaminated land or air quality.
Our client requires someone who can start ASAP. The duration will be a minimum of 3 months. Rates for this role are negotiable and will be based on your experience and qualifications. We have suggested to the client that rates will be from a minimum of £33 per hour. This role will fall inside IR35. Hours are 30hrs per week and our client is flexible on how these are made up. There is also scope to work from home.
