Full Description

Osborne Richardson is delighted to be working with a Local Authority based in Hertfordshire who require 3 degree qualified Town Planners to join their Development Management Team. In this role you will be required to manage a caseload of minor to mid-level planning applications and you will provide expert technical advice at every stage. You will be expected to manage your own caseload and on a daily basis you will be completing reports, carrying out site visits where required and representing the Council at committee.

Recent work experience within a local authority or planning consultancy will be pivotal for this role (at least 12-18 months) and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.

Remuneration

These are permanent positions offering a remuneration package of up to £30,785 per annum depending on your level of experience.
