Joining our local authority client in West Yorkshire you will be involved with assisting in the provision of services in relation to Local Plan development, forward planning and planning policies, national and regional planning initiatives and helping compile data and log key information. You will be tasked with specific responsibilities commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications and you will help research and compile report documents crucial to the ongoing consultation process.
To apply for this role you will need to be a degree qualified Town Planner with recent work experience within a local authority planning policy team. You will need good communication skills with the ability to translate complex information and clearly explain planning policies, regulations and procedures to customers.
The role will run for at least 3 months as is standard with agency contracts but it is very likely to extend until at least the end of the calendar year; the rate will be around £19-£21/hr (c£30k pro-rata).
