Full Description

Our client, based in the North West of England require a degree qualified Town Planner to carry out a role within their Development Management Team. Your work will focus on dealing with a caseload of planning applications and you will be providing expert technical advice at every stage. On a daily basis you will be completing reports, carrying out site visits where required and representing the Council at committee.

You will have a minimum of 2 years post qualification expeirence and recent work experience in the field is essential, your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines must be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.

Candidates for this position will ideally have a driver's license in order to carry out site visits. The role will be offered for an initial 3 month period but there is a possibility to will be extended and the rate offered is between £15 - £20 p/hr.
