Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer - Noise Officer

Our local authority client, based in South East London is looking to appoint an experienced Noise Officer. You will be expected to undertake the full range of duties appropriate to the Section as required, specialising in complex noise issues. You will also be responsible for the completion of work programmes and tasks laid down by the Team Manager & assist in managing staff ensuring the achievement of performance in particular to deal with: S61 CoPA construction dispensations and noise issues/complaints in relation to major construction or infrastructure projects such as Cross rail and Thames Tideway tunnel. You will also be expected to provide an input to Entertainment licence processes.

In order to be considered it is imperative that you a Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalent, an Acoustic Diploma is also highly desirable.

The initial contract will run for a period of 3 months starting In June, it is highly expected that it will be renewed. Rates are will be between £25-£30 depending on experience.
