Our local authority client based in Hampshire requires an Environmental Health Officer / Technical Officer who is able to undertake General Public Health Complaints and also process planning applications. The work would be EP focused including; noise, nuisance, public health, filthy and verminous premises and planning consultations.
In order to be considered it is essential that you have covered the work required for a minimum of 2 years, preferably within a local authority itself.
The contract is offered for a 3 month period starting from the beginning of March 2017. There is even the possibility that the contract may run until the end of May but this has not yet been determined. Our client has stated that the hours are flexible but ideally they require someone who would be available to work 3/4 days per week. Rates on offer will be from £28 per hour.
