Full Description:

Our local authority client in East Anglia require a Trading Standards Officer / Enforcemnt Officer. Working in the Community Safety and Investigations Team
Responsible for improving community safety and public health by:
- tackling the supply of alcohol, tobacco and other age restricted products to young people and the supply of illicit tobacco and alcohol
- supporting vulnerable people by addressing rogue trading, and
- developing and implementing solutions dealing with locality/community issues, including active engagement & partnership work
Investigation of criminal offences, focusing on the most prolific offending and complaints relating to the most persistent/detrimental traders, which may include appropriate use of civil and alternative sanctions, to improve business compliance and obtain consumer redress.
