Work on the first stage of a multimillion pound regeneration project is due to get underway in Surrey.
Consisting of a total of 52 new properties, the Stanwell New Start regeneration scheme - a venture between A2Dominion and Spelthorne Borough Council - is set to start next month.
Those searching for regeneration jobs may be interested to note that the first phase of work will see 32 private homes constructed, with the revenue generated from their sale used to fund the rest of the project.
"We've been committed to working closely with residents since the very start and look forward to continuing to do so as the project moves forward," David Price, director of regeneration for A2Dominion, points out.
Overall, the scheme is worth £50 million and will include a health centre and community facilities, as well as housing.
Earlier this month, plans for a £12 million regeneration scheme of the area surrounding Leicester Cathedral were unveiled.
